The week of July 4th, I had the incredibly awesome and humbling opportunity to attend the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle, thanks to my friends at Walmart! I was invited to cover the event as their social influencer, and hands-down, one of the biggest highlights for me was the Opening Ceremony.
During the event, I got to not only meet Special Olympics Chairman Tim Shriver, but also interview him about his mother Eunice Kennedy Shriver’s legacy as the founder of the games, his passion for inclusion, and the work that still needs to be done.
